Four Asian entries make the cut at shortlist stage of LIA Television, Cinema + Online Film judging

This year’s 28th London International Awards TV/Cinema/Online Film jury, led by Tham Khai Meng, Worldwide Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy & Mather, has concluded their judging in Las Vegas. Kenichiro Sakaguchi of Dentsu Inc. represented Japan on this year’s jury.
In total 91 entries made it through to the Shortlist stage, including only four from Asia. The UK leads the way with 19 shortlists, followed by USA with 16 and Australia with 14 shortlists – including four for “Dumb Ways to Die” out of McCanns Melbourne.
Asia’s four shortlists were:
JWT Beijing – Windows 8 Campaign “Watermelon” and “Make Up”.
Ogilvy & Mather Thailand – Thai Life Insurance “Forget Me Not”.
Dentsu Creative X Tokyo – Baika Gofuku Gan “Batting Practice Campaign”.
Tohokushinsha Film Corporation Tokyo – Subaru EyeSight “Minicar Music Player”.
