Titus.jpgHenry.jpgThe Thinking Machine, the 7-month old start-up in Indonesia, has made some prominent hires to fuel its creative tank. Titus Gomez and Henry Adhytia have joined in senior art positions in the creative team. On the back of some impressive new business wins, it was imperative for the agency to start an unexpectedly early recruitment drive.

According to Roop Mukhopadhyay, Director – Strategy Planning, “Like most start-ups, we started with a small team but as business has grown fairly rapidly and new opportunities keep calling, we had to beef up our team. The Thinking Machine believes in creating benchmarks in our offerings to our clients, be it in our thought processes or creative ideas. So having the right guys is important.”

Titus Gomez (pictured top) has joined The Thinking Machine as Senior Creative Director. He started his advertising career in India 16 years ago and has won multiple awards for art in various Ad club shows in the country. He is proficient in ATL, BTL, web and interactive media having worked with Bates 141 (now Bates CHI Partners), EuroRSCG (Now Havas), FCB Ulka (Now Draft FCB) and Stark Communications. Titus has cut his teeth on large brands such as Dell, Hyundai Motors, Dominos Pizza, LG, Karnataka Tourism, Wipro and Bangalore Airport to name a few.

Adhytia (bottom) joins as Associate Creative Director. His 11 years of advertising experience in Y&R, Flying Giraffe and Avicom brings the right balance of local flavor to the creative team. He also ran a consultancy prior to taking up this assignment. Henry has won Citra Pariwara awards for TVC and in print for Art Direction apart from being a finalist in 2013. He has worked on several brands in categories as diverse as cigarettes and F&B to consumer white goods and telecommunication.

Says Rajiv R. Menon, Chief Creative Officer, “Titus and Henry are solid talents who meet our 3600 integrated MO in the eye. They not only bring experience in conceptualizations to the table but also a good art sense in look and design. We experiment a lot and now with them on board, we have the additional firepower to stay true to what we set out for. The machine’s looking forward to some exciting thought fuel that’s on offer now.”
