LongXi NOVA creative competition with 17 finalists takes place this weekend in Shanghai

LongXi.jpgAfter seven months and six NOVA regional creative competitions, seventeen NOVA regional winning teams are gathering in Shanghai to compete in the 2013 LongXi NOVA Grand Final Competition. The competition starts tonight when all participating creative teams will receive a brief and will have less than 24 hours to work on the brief to present the first round concept to the panel of judges starting at 1.00pm tomorrow. The panel of judges will comment on the concepts and the teams can make revisions in accordance.

Then on Sunday at 1.00pm the second round of presentations begin behind closed doors to the panel of judges. The judges will comment and provide scores to each team. On the morning of the 24th, the judges will regroup to discuss and decide the team sequence based on team scores. They will also decide which teams will enter the final round of presentations on stage at 1.00pm.

The LongXi founders, Jimmy Lam, Tomaz Mok and Peter Soh will be onsite to interact with the audience and the participating teams.

The panel of judges are members of the NOVA regional competitions as well as creative elites in the Greater China region. The jury consists of: Amber Liu (Jury President), CEO Amber Communication, Miranda Shing, Creative Partner, The Right Side, John Yang, ECD Bremen Digital Creative, Kevin Wang, ECD, VML im2.0, Gu Mingyi, SISU Ph.D, Tang Le, FuDan University, Ph.D Lecturer, Hwee Chong Chan,ECD, Grey Beijing, Liu Yiping, Creative Partner, Z+. Albert Lin, Creative Consultant and Aaron Zhang, Managing Partner, Arkr Group.

The winner and the first runner-up team will be sent on a study tour of advertising festivals abroad. HdtMedia is the funding sponsor of the study tour.

The open to the public events will be held at the West Wing, Audio & Visual Information Center of Shanghai International Studies University, Songjiang campus.
