JWT’s art director Wong Shi Min to represent Singapore at Cannes Young Lions Festival
JWT Singapore Art Director Wong Shi Min has been selected by MediaCorp, the Singapore representative of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, to represent Singapore at the Young Cannes Lions print competition. She was part of a duo that beat 37 entries from 14 agencies to win the spot.
Wong (pictured) teamed up with pal Michelle Fun, a copywriter at BBDO, to enter the competition, which tasked young creatives to come up with a campaign to promote breastfeeding in Singapore. Wong and Fun created a print ad that features a sticker of an illustrated nipple, encouraging people to wear it and show their support for breastfeeding moms. “Wearing a sticker shows breastfeeding moms that they don’t need to be embarrassed of breastfeeding or expressing breast milk. It makes them more comfortable too, because everybody’s baring a breast with them,” says Wong.
Wong, 27 years old, works on JWT’s global Lux team. Prior to joining JWT, she worked as a freelance art director for three years.
“This is incredible! I’m honored and excited to compete at Cannes. It’s a wonderful opportunity,” she said.

Awesome!! Mich! Young Copywriter of the Year + Young Lions!!
That is a cute idea….but why is someone with obvious talent working on Lux? Too young to be wasting time on such a restricting and boring piece of business.
Looking forward to people in singapore wearing nipple stickers. And not being arrested!!
