Oscar-nominated + award winning director Kevin Mannens joins roster at Indigo Asia Production

ndigo Asia Production has recently signed Kevin Mannens as director. Mannens is an oscar-nominated and Annie Award winning technical director and visual effects designer who has been instrumental in close to a dozen Hollywood blockbusters.
Mannens (pictured) joins Indigo from Industrial Light and Magic where he has worked on feature films projects including Transformers: Age of Extinction, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Pacific Rim. During his career Mannens has worked at the world’s leading visual effects facilities including Moving Picture Company and Sony Pictures Imageworks, and his credits include The Amazing Spiderman, Happy Feet 2, Prince Caspian and Alice in Wonderland (for which he received the Oscar nod). Mannens was the recipient of the 2014 Annie Award for “Outstanding Achievement in Animated Effects in a Live Action Production” for his work on Pacific Rim.
A visual storyteller first and foremost, Kevin is fluent across various media from 3D animation and VFX to Live action and time-lapse photography. Mannens is known as a visceral, versatile and visionary imagineer; his work a symbiosis of tactile visuals, functional technology and engaging narrative.
“Aside from his obvious expertise in visual effects and tremendous technical prowess, Kevin is just a raw visual talent with an immaculate eye for detail and composition,” says Indigo’s founder and director Adrian Van de Velde.
