Toyota launches Southeast Asia seatbelt art design contest promoting road safety via Delphys Hakuhodo International and i-DAC
Delphys Hakuhodo International and i-DAC, the digital agency of Hakuhodo Group, have launched a multi-market digital campaign for Toyota’s Seatbelt Art Contest in Southeast Asia. The digital campaign runs until September 2014.
“Road safety is a paramount priority at Toyota. One of the most common reasons for people to not wear a seatbelt is because they felt that it was uncomfortable. So besides advocating the importance and benefits of the seatbelt through Toyota’s safety website, we felt that it is necessary to inspire people in Southeast Asia to help make wearing the seatbelt fun and enjoyable. To this end, the Seatbelt Art Contest produced by Delphys Hakuhodo International and i-DAC is a unique and engaging digital campaign to spearhead the movement across the region,” said Yasunori Nakajima, Deputy Managing Director of Delphys Hakuhodo International.
Toyota’s Seatbelt Art contest is open to residents of, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The Open category is for general public and there is also a Professional category for bloggers, design students, teachers and professionals. All winning designs will be produced into Toyota’s seatbelt pads and winners also get to receive cool prizes such as iPad Air and iPad Mini.
