Starting Monday February 9th we will be announcing the overall Regional Agency of the Year; Regional Network of the Year; individual country Agency of the Year announcements; plus lots more.

Reputations don’t mean anything in the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings. The Agencies and Networks that top these Creative Rankings can genuinely lay claim to being the most creative in their country, as the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings are calculated solely on creative performance at the major regional and international award shows.

We attribute an adjusted points value to each Gold, Silver and Bronze award won by each agency at each award show or festival. And we are selective about which categories gain points – for instance, awards are not counted for “double dipping” when print/film campaigns win craft awards. Also PR and Media categories – money spinners for awards shows – are not included.

The regional award shows that are included in the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings are: AdFest, Spikes Asia; AdStars, AWARD Awards, and acceptances in “The Work”.

The International award shows included are: D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show (Advertising), Clio, London International Awards and New York Festivals.

Award shows are also weighted, depending on the difficulty of winning. As an example awards at AdFest are valued at: Grand Prix 40pts; Gold 30pts; Silver 20pts; and Bronze 10pts.

The international shows count for more – For example, at the Cannes Lions, award wins are valued at: Grand Prix 70pts; Gold 60pts; Silver 40pts; and Bronze 20pts.

Look out for daily announcements starting next week.
