Geometry Global Japan launches ‘Alien Of Ariake’ film to draw visitors to Saga City in Japan
Geometry Global Japan has launched a new film to draw visitors to Saga City, Japan. The film, ‘Alien of Ariake’, tells the story of an alien creature that lives in the nearby Ariake Sea.
Created for Saga City, the film conveys the warmth and charm of Saga City through the daily life of locals. The film has reached 7,000 views on YouTube since launching four weeks ago.
The Mayor of Saga, Toshiyuki Hideshima, who features in the film, said, “I was initially surprised by the idea of this project and wondered how we might attract more people to the area through WARASUBO – which is not traditionally special to us. The final product is hugely entertaining, and I have no doubt that it will help to encourage people to visit and explore the beauty of Saga.”
Masato Mitsudera, Head of Creative, Geometry Global Japan, said: “I wanted to convey a mixture of shock and anticipation through the film. We are proud to have worked with the Mayor or Saga on this project, and I hope the film grabs people’s attention and triggers a curiosity to see WARASUBO and visit Saga.”
