Zeno Group Singapore hires Tony Ray Pereira in newly created role of executive creative director
Zeno Group Asia has appointed Tony Ray Pereira as Executive Creative Director for its Singapore office.
In this newly created role, Pereira will be responsible for leading content excellence and creative strategy for the agency’s roster of local and regional clients. He will report to Jeremy Seow, Managing Director of Zeno Group Singapore, and partner with Zeno’s creative community of 30 content creators in offices across the Asia Pacific region.
Pereira brings with him over 25 years of experience in growing his clients’ businesses through developing high impact, integrated marketing programmes for global brands. He joins Zeno from Dentsu Singapore where he was previously Regional and Executive Creative Director, and also Chief Creative Officer at Dentsu Indonesia. Prior to this, he held senior creative roles at Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson and McCann Erickson.
Pereira’s commitment as a brand custodian has resulted in local and international awards at shows like the Creative Circle Awards, The One Show, the Clio Awards, the Art Director’s Club of New York, the London International Awards, the New York Festivals, ADFEST, and the Mobius Awards and Communication Arts, for his work on brands such as Canon, UPS, Nestle, Motorola and Association of Women for Action and Research.
Commenting on the appointment, Jeremy said, “Zeno Singapore has been working towards being a leading content marketing agency on a global scale. Tony will be able to build on our existing infrastructure in this office, tap on our various virtual content centres of excellence and partner up with our content amplification team to deliver on that promise. I’m delighted to have Tony’s help in achieving this vision, while continuing our commitment to nurture and promote local talent in order to deliver on work that is internationally recognised yet locally compelling.”
Pereira said, “Not only does Zeno constantly produce highly insightful and compelling work for its clients, its broad capabilities extend beyond just campaign planning to include media strategy and planning. As an organisation, the firm is highly collaborative and nimble – I believe its structure of building regional centres of excellence for technology, editorial and amplification sets it apart as an agency built for the future. Definitely exciting times ahead for me!”
At Zeno, Pereira will oversee work for clients like Audi, Intel, Asus, Far East Hospitality, Gardasil, Zostavax, Veeam and Toshiba.
