DigitasLBi boosts their China business with two new senior management hires based in Shanghai

DigitasLBi has appointed Damien Tew as Managing Director, China and Cecil Chua as General Manager, China to help drive business growth in mainland China.

Both will be based in the Shanghai office, where Tew will be responsible for driving global business and talent growth across their China offices (Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu), while, Chua will focus on leading key client portfolios and new business development.

Tew (pictured left) was previously based at DigitasLBi Hong Kong, where he successfully managed business development across APAC. He will be leading some of DigitasLBi’s largest Chinese clients on their journey of digital transformation – helping them to identify and leverage opportunities in creative, data and technology. Damien will report into Roy Capon, CEO for APAC.

Chua (pictured right) will lead key client portfolios and new business development, and will report to Tew. Prior to joining DigitasLBi, Chua was Business Director at Wunderman China, BBDO Beijing and SapientNitro.
