The 2015 Global Startup Ecosystem Ranking – Singapore ranked #10, Bangalore #15, Sydney #16

Singapore is ranked an impressive #10 in the latest 2015 Startup Ecosystem Ranking, which ranks the top 20 startup ecosystems around the world. The index is produced by ranking ecosystems along five major components: Performance, Funding, Talent, Market Reach, and Startup Experience.
Not surprisingly Silicon Valley is #1, followed by New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Tel Aviv and London. Bangalore is place #15 and Sydney ranks #16.
Singapore and Bangalore were among the startup ecosystems which made the biggest leaps since the last rankings were produced in 2012. Bangalore moved from #19 to #15 while Singapore from #17 to #10. Sydney dropped from #12 in 2012 to #16 while Melbourne dropped out of the top 20 altogether.
