DDB Group Hong Kong + Landmark give families a never ending wishing experience for Christmas
DDB Group Hong Kong is magnifying Landmark’s ‘Wishes Come True’ Christmas campaign by seamlessly blending the virtual and physical worlds and perpetuating visitor engagement with the Christmas installation at Landmark.
Marking the first time Landmark’s Christmas installation has transcended the virtual world, DDB gives visitors a technology-enhancing experience with an augmented reality mobile app and a website that lets consumers savour Landmark’s Christmas experience even when they are not there.
Allowing visitors to bring the entire wishing experience home to interact with and share with others, the website and AR app bring the unique Santa Paws to life in one of four scenarios that depict him taking part in the Wishing Machine, which will be the focal point of this year’s Christmas installation in Landmark. The installation aims to inspire customers with a unique experience that reflects the true spirit of sharing.
Working with Make A Wish Hong Kong. HK$20 donation will be made to children of the charity upon each video created with the mobile app uploaded to landmark.hk.
“The mobile app prolongs the experience beyond just a visit to Landmark so visitors really feel they are taking part in making wishes come true. And better still, parents and kids can bond over the magic of the Wishing Machine and Christmas happiness,” said Julia Hou, Creative Director at DDB Group Hong Kong.
