Stirred Bangalore launches ‘smallxmas’ initiative in support of kids at Nirmala Shishu Bhavan
Bangalore based agency, Stirred, has launched an initiative ‘SmallXmas’ to support a local orphanage – Nirmala Shishu Bhavan, this Christmas season with an online film. This film captures the spirit of giving and sends out the message to provide the kids at the orphanage an opportunity to celebrate Christmas in a big way.
The film offers a glimpse of the effort of the employees at Stirred towards the initiative, a pledge to cut down on all their expenses this holiday season so as to save and contribute towards gifts for the children of Nirmala Shishu Bhavan and make their Christmas special. The company hopes to inspire others to follow suit with this film and is also encouraging its clients to participate and contribute to bring a smile to these kids’ faces.
The film has been directed and produced by production house, Big Yellow Taxi.
On the initiative, Managing Director and Co-Founder, Stirred, Alex Anthony said, “Stirred has always celebrated Christmas and New Year in a big way with all our employees. This year, we took a step back to see how far we’ve come and wanted to do our bit to give back to the society. The Nirmala Shishu Bhavan story touched us deeply and we are glad we are doing something, however small, for them this Christmas. After all, this is the season of giving.”
On the launch of the film, Executive Creative Director and Co-Founder, Edward Anthony said, “There’s always joy in making a film that can open up the hearts of people towards a cause. This film is not just the output of a creative team, but a film that we believe can inspire many.”
Nirmala Shishu Bhavan, a charity run by Mother Theresa’s Missionaries of Charity, is a small orphanage located in Richards Town, with 40 children most of them physically and mentally handicapped. The campaign with a difference seeks to inspire more corporates to create similar initiatives.
