Indigo Asia Production beefs up roster for 2016
Director Nick Jay has joined the roster at Indigo Asia Production.
Nick Jay (pictured) is a young director based out of Dublin who first stepped onto a film set at the age of 8 (his dad was in the business) and from that moment on he knew he wanted to work in film making.
“Agencies are always looking for new faces and fresh new show reels,” says Miles Johnson, Managing Director of Indigo.
“We are constantly seeing dozens of reels from all over the globe and just occasionally you come across a gem. It’s become a crowded market so it’s vital to be able to keep offering stand out talent that agencies haven’t seen before.”
“My whole life I have dreamed about working all over world,” says Jay. “Late last year Indigo made that a little bit more of a reality when they decided to sign me. This was obviously a really positive and exciting move on my behalf especially because of the location. Asia has always blown my mind! The energy, the people, the cities, the beaches, the lifestyles and of course the weather have always excited and inspired me. Especially now in 2016 when you look at their creative industries. They have no limits. If they believe in it, they will make it happen and nothing will stop them. I feel I can relate to to this. Passion will take you a long way in life.”
“What struck me about Nick’s reel was a raw energy that I hadn’t seen in a while and it made for compelling viewing,” continued Johnson.
