Studies show that when kids are involved in preparing vegetable dishes, they are more likely to eat them. So to help fight undernourishment in children in the Philippines, Ogilvy turned a popular folk song about vegetables into a book. The twist? Kids can plant each page of the book to grow the different vegetables mentioned in the song. By placing the book in children’s hands, they are now more excited to grow healthy themselves.

Product demos have become staple in the skin care category. Every brand is doing it. But it’s hard to stand out when everyone’s doing the same thing. Ogilvy decided to take the product demo to new heights – literally. They created a big scale demonstration on a 70 ft. tall billboard. The billboard was filled with real leaves to represent the consistency of skin. One side had Vaseline Petroleum Jelly on them, while the other didn’t. A surprising discovery became visible after exposing the billboard to the sun for days.
