Ciclope Festival reveals judges and special guests for award show in Berlin this November
Ciclope Festival has revealed its list of judges and special guests for its 7th edition, which will be held on 3rd and 4th November 2016, in Berlin. The most creative and talented professionals in the audiovisual industry will gather at the Kino International to recognize the most well-crafted works of the year, network with colleagues and clients, and open up to new ideas.
This year, the international jury includes about 70 creatives, producers and directors from the most recognized companies in the world. Divided into two groups (Executive Jury and Grand Jury), they will evaluate the entries and award the best commercials, music videos, fashion films and branded contents in 40 categories.
Patrick Milling Smith (President, Here Be Dragons), Tom Dunlap (Chief Production Officer, 72andSunny), Diane McArter (President, Furlined), Judy John (CCO, Leo Burnett Canada), Ralph Laucella (Founding Partner, O Positive), Vic Palumbo (Director of Integrated Production, Deutsch LA), Thomas Benski (Global CEO, Pulse Films), Richard Brim (ECD, adam&eveDDB), Raven Smith (Comissioning Director, Nowness), Olly Chapman (Head of Television, AMV BBDO), Brian O’Rourke (Director of Production, TBWA\Chiat\Day), David Olsson (Managing Director, Acne Group), Kat Friis (Executive Production Director, R/GA), Pelle Nilsson (Founding Partner, B-Reel), Andrés Ordóñez (CCO, Energy BBDO) and Justin Brukman (Managing Director, MPC New York) are just some of them. As usual, Ciclope Festival will host two days of thought-provoking talks and panels. This year’s list of speakers includes advertising legend Sir John Hegarty (Founder, BBH), the movie trailer guru Mark Woollen, German director Sebastian Schipper (known for the outstanding film “Victoria”), multi-award winning director Daniel Wolfe, Kerstin Emhoff (President, Prettybird) and Industrial Light & Magic’s Ian Comley, who will explain his work on character design for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. And there are more big names to come!
