Dentsu One India encourages people to give domestic helps time off to share with loved ones

This film by Dentsu One India, shows a glimpse into the life of an orphan who works as a cook at her master’s house. Through the film, we see her cooking several things while her voice narrates how she never saw her parents in her childhood, and how all she saw was her reflection melting away in the hot pan. The film ends with the message, ‘Let’s bring joy to the homes of those who take care of ours. Give an off, when it’s an off’ urging people to give their domestic helps an off on national holidays, so that they could in turn spend time with their loved ones.

How ironic the timing of this spot considering the recent suicide of a Dentsu Japan employee from overwork.
