Beacon/Leo Burnett Tokyo

In anticipation to the growing need for senior care in Japan, where over 40% of the population is 65 and older. AXA Japan wanted to provide a service to help families keep in touch and look after their elder parents. AXA’s mobile app allows grown children to easily communicate with their senior parents, monitor their activity, keep track of their location, and notify them if their parents are in trouble.

Stressed and overworked Japanese are ignoring their nutritional needs, increasing the burden on the country’s healthcare system. Japan Railways, the most prominent rail company in Japan with many deli food courts within its stations, recognised this need for healthier meal options and created a unique meal service that provides busy working professionals a healthy-eating option.

Delicious Supplement is a personalized lunch capsule. After customers complete a nutritional analysis, the system identifies which of four nutrient types need a boost. Using AI diagnosis through the LINE messaging app customers are ‘prescribed’ the right combination of pick-and-mix style deli capsules. Customers then simply choose correlating food boxes based on the designated category suggested. (The original AI and all delis are managed by the professional nutritionist.)
