Directions Brand Communications wins BIMA Cambodia’s creative and media business
After years of operations in Cambodia; BIMA Cambodia has appointed Directions Brand Communications for its creative and media duties. As the Sweden-based company seeks to ramp up its efforts to deliver the benefits of personal accident and life insurance to those who need them most, Directions will lead the new multi-pronged campaign covering strategy, advertising, digital and social media, and PR. It will be the agency’s task to provide awareness and promote the benefits of affordable insurance to the country’s low-wage earners.
“Directions strived to present a distinct idea that clearly communicates what insurance is all about and the benefits it could offer. Considering the low level of awareness about insurance, this was the way to go and we’re delighted that the client gave the green light to the campaign after providing additional insights to strengthen it,” said Pisey Lim, Managing Director, Directions Brand Communications. “We are excited to team up with a global organization equipped to bring novel solutions for problems that face the country’s low-income class. And since BIMA is partnered with Smart in this endeavor, it gives us a helpful advantage because of our work and familiarity with Smart.”
Lim added, “BIMA Cambodia has an exceptional array of products beneficial to less-privileged Cambodians. Their experience in 14 countries and aiding over 30 million customers so far through mobile micro insurance is definitely something worth bringing to more people. All of us are enthusiastic to work with them and eager to focus our shop’s array of expertise to help realize BIMA’s worthwhile goal of providing financial assistance and emotional security to more Cambodians.”
