BBDO India’s ‘Dads #ShareTheLoad’ for Procter & Gamble gets top honors in The Good Report
BBDO India’s highly acclaimed work ‘Dads #ShareTheLoad’ for Proter & Gamble has officially made it to The Good Report – Top 40 Campaigns Promoting Good Causes in the World. This new accolade also ranks BBDO India at #22 in the Top 25 Most Successful Agencies Promoting Good Causes and the BBDO Network is #1 on the list of Top 20 Most Successful Networks Promoting Good Causes.
The Good Report believes that advertising is too often confined to its commercial side; we tend to forget the other part of its role: informing, raising awareness and educating. The recognition offered to agencies that give time and talent to support the communication of public interest causes, are very few and far between. BBDO India, on its part, has always been one for ‘creating acts, not ads’. With the global recognition that its campaign ‘Dads #ShareTheLoad’ has received, BBDO India’s work is being watched and lauded by creative professionals and consumers worldwide.
Recently, BBDO India’s latest campaign, ‘Mirinda #ReleaseThePressure‘ also won the coveted Gold at ANDYs awards, organized by The Advertising Club of New York! As the first premiere advertising award show of the season, The International ANDY Awards is an early predictor that often provides a glimpse into what will sweep the industry’s award season. With a look inside this year’s jury room, entrants also gained additional insight as to which work is resonating best with industry leaders. Mirinda’s ‘#ReleaseThePressure’ was awarded the Gold by a Jury consisting of the world’s finest creative minds – CCO’s from agencies around the globe.
Josy Paul, Chairman & Chief Creative Office said, “Brands can play a useful role in rearranging society for the better. In the process, they build strong emotional roots and consumer preference and affect buying behavior – which impacts sales and profits positively. We call it ‘creating acts, not ads’. And we are thrilled that our approach is being recognized worldwide.”
