Cannes Contenders: i2mago Guangzhou
How will Asia Pacific perform at Cannes this year? In the lead up to the Festival, Campaign Brief Asia will be showcasing the work we hope will impress the judges…
Cell Phone Prison
i2mago Guangzhou
“Cell Phone Prison” is made up of three individual posters and videos. With the advance of smart phones and social media, and the emergence of various convenient applications, mobile phones have gradually become an indispensable existence to us. However, while providing convenience in life, mobile phones are also slowly affecting people’s normal life and interpersonal relationships. In order to change this situation, people need to be aware of the drawbacks of mobile phone addiction, so that they can use their devices correctly and wisely. Therefore, Shenyang’s Institute of Psychology hopes to use powerful ideas to communicate this aim.
In order to convey the message effectively and trigger reflection, the visual style of surrealism was chosen in particular, and the mobile phone usage scenes were combined with the imprisonment scenes by exaggeration. Through this creative expression, we hope to advocate everyone to balance the relationship between mobile phones and real life correctly and reasonably.
