London International Awards jury line-up for the 2018 Design and Package Design category includes M&C Saatchi aeiou Shanghai’s Tony Liu + good design company Tokyo’s Manabu Mizuno
London International Awards has announced that Isabelle Dahlborg Lidström (pictured left), head of experience / creative director at GROW Sweden, will preside over the 2018 Design and Package Design jury.
With over 25 years of international experience within the design industry and a specialty in packaging design, Lidström is a sought-after jury member for prestigious award competitions. Constantly in tune with what is happening today and where it’s going tomorrow, Lidström has dedicated her career to using design for innovation as a way to solve business challenges.
Says Lidström: “I am thrilled and honoured to be elected jury president this year. I have great respect and admiration for the competition and the contributions, which always hold a very high level of creativity and craftsmanship. The days of assessing the 2018 LIA submissions with the rest of the jury in Las Vegas will be a memory for lifetime.”
Good design transcends language. It draws us to a product on a shelf and holds our attention, inviting us to take it home with us. In short, good design and packaging breaks down the last barrier between the consumer and the purchase.
Says Barbara Levy, president, LIA: “That’s why we are so passionate about it. LIA has always had very strong entries for both Design and Package Design. The Design and Package Design judging will take place at Encore Las Vegas from October 1st through October 5th.
The Entry System is open for entries. The entry deadline is TODAY July 31st.
