Good People Basically Shanghai celebrates their 1st anniversary and moves into new office
Good People Basically Shanghai recently celebrated their 1st anniversary by moving into a new office at the “Harujuku of Shanghai”. Their latest outfit is located in the French concession, home of some of Shanghai’s star hang-outs, historical sites, and eateries. The multi-talented team transformed one of the historical houses into their personal working space.
Takahito Irie, GPB Artistic Creative Director shares his vision for the new office, “This is the new home for good people with extraordinary skills and talents. The concept of this small villa embraces the mental, physical, and emotional environments within which creativity operates. This is the home that nurtures, supports, inspires and reinforces our creativity.”

Since its establishment in September 2017, GPB has built a strong reputation in the industry as a top performing company with a raft of major business wins including Häagen-Dazs, Mercedes Me, Super Bock, Have & Be’s Dr.Jart+, Vzug and various other international clients.
“Over the course of the year, GPB has hired talents from Japan, United Kingdom, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, Los Angeles and Canada, armed with different sets of creative skills,” said Andrew June, GPB Co-Founder. “We only work with brands we love, and we pride ourselves on keeping a small, exclusive band of inspiring and interesting clients.”
Have & Be’s Dr.Jart+ was GPB’s first client. Earlier this year, Dr.Jart+ Prismverse was featured on CNN Style, which was also awarded “People’s Choice” and “Best Use of Light” at the Frame International Architecture Award in Amsterdam. The Beautiful Journey Campaign for Dr.Jart+ was also celebrated among the world’s top creative work on Contagious Magazine London.
“Shanghai is a very competitive market for a challenger company like GPB. And we are very
fortunate to have made a good run. We’ve exceeded our revenue target which will allow us the
luxury of accomplishing more in the following year, such as expanding the Singapore office, investing in talent, and most importantly, rewarding our hardworking team members. We are all psyched to double that revenue in 2019,” said Alvin Lim, GPB Chairman.
