ADK Taiwan crowned Agency of the Year at the One Show Greater China Awards 2018
ADK Taiwan was crowned Agency of the Year at One Show Greater China last Friday, after becoming the most awarded agency of the night – bagging a total of 14 awards, including four Golds, two Silvers, two Bronzes and five Merits under Interactive, Cross-platform, Design, Direct Marketing, Film,Branded Entertainment and Craft categories.
And their client, 7-ELEVEN Taiwan also named as “Client of the Year” to celebrate their victory together.
ADK Taiwan’s 7-ELEVEN CSR “Rhythm of Love Wall” was highly awarded on the night with four golds and one silver pencils.
7-ELEVEN Taiwan has been fundraising for charity groups for years, but the donation has been gradually decreased. ADK TAIWAN found that even if only donating a coin, by showing appreciation to those who contribute, encourages more good will. So the “Rhythm of Love Wall” donation box came out, which directly transformed donation box into an experiential and interactive media. When people drop a coin, it not only instantly gives applause, but also clearly communicate the message – “helping people is a happy thing.”
The campaign reached over 86,500 people all over Taiwan, and earned over 30 main media reports and it helped 7-ELEVEN to raise record-breaking high donations.
The agency’s new “House of Little Moments” work with Uni Noodle, “The Original Flavour 1/2” and “Triple Chop Minced Pork Noodles“, picked up one silver, one bronze pencils and four merits.
The idea, “Flavoured by Mood”, continued in Season 3 of the campaign and kept creating warm but impressive stories. In order to make it fresh to the audience, the story went along with two different viewpoints – the same story, the same bowl of noodles, but it came with different flavors decided by two character’s mood. And the audience can choose to watch different viewpoints of characters from the split of the story.
Other works with CITY CAFÉ for the branded entertainment film “7” and with KGI bank for the campaign “Fifty Shades of Borrowing Money” took out one bronze and one merit.
“We’re very honored to be here to receive these awards and this fantastic achievement from One Show Greater China, one of the most influential creative festivals in the region. This is the second victory since 2015, sincere thanks to all the ADK teams, partners and client! It is particularly wonderful to see our efforts recognized as this amazing result.” said Richard Yu, Chief Creative Officer at ADK Taiwan.
