Iris appoints Ramani Amar as APAC Head of People

Iris has appointed Ramani Amar as Head of People for the APAC region. In her new role, Amar will lead and champion Iris’s People-Powered strategy for the region with a focus on driving engagement and implementing best-in-class initiatives and programs across the entire employee journey.

Amar brings over 17 years of experience in talent management, HR and recruiting across a plethora of sectors. Prior to her current appointment, Amar was the Director of HR & Talent – Singapore & Hong Kong for McCann Worldgroup, where she led their DE&I strategy among other responsibilities.

Amar joins Iris at a time of transformation and growth in sync with its value proposition – ‘For the Forward’ and she will work in in partnership with the MDs and leadership teams of the offices in Singapore, Thailand, India and Indonesia to provide commercially focused people solutions that enable the region to deliver its goals, through its people.

Amar is the recipient of an excellence award for HR Director of the year 2021, by HRD Asia. Her role is effective immediately and she reports to Harriet Shurville.
